Episode: Spontaneous Connections: George Harrison, Dylan, The Kinks plus new and vintage music

Nov 29, 2019 episode of Connections on WPKN with Eric Cocks, filling in for my good friend Chris Frantz the Talking Head. New and vintage music. A special tribute to George Harrison. Extended sections featuring The Kinks and their album Arthur (including demos), Bob Dylan, songwriter/producer Jeff Barry and new releases from Prince and Harry Nilsson.

Also new releases from Liz Phair, Aimee Mann and Jenny Lewis.

Plus The Beatles, Ray Charles, The Shangri-Las, The Beach Boys, T Rex, The Ronnettes, Thurston Harris, Herb Alpert, Until The Ribbon Breaks, ABBA, Sam Phillips, The Dixie Cups, Mary Weiss, Fleetwood Mac, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Nazz, The Squeaky Chairs, Various Glitches and whatever happened in the moment.

Btw, there was a technical problem playing a newly released Harry Nilsson song at the start of the show. However, the full song appears later on… and sounds great!!

Thanks for tuning in!
