1) Bill Lueders, former editor and now editor-at-large with The Progressive magazine, is author of "An Enemy of the State," the biography of the late editor of The Progressive, Erwin Knoll. He'll discuss his recent article, "The Crucible that Awaits Kamala Harris: Republicans will stop at nothing to defame and defeat the Democrats’ new presidential contender, and other observations about what at stake in the 2024 election.

2) Andra Watkins, a New York Times best selling author whose recent novels include, "Number 13," "Hard to Die," and "Not Without My Father: One Woman’s 444-Mile Walk of the Natchez Trace." Andra, who grew up steeped in Christian Nationalist thought, approaches the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 as a Christian Nationalist text with “hidden Bible references.” She'll discuss her research compiled on her substack page, “How Project 2025 Will Ruin Your Life,” and other issues related to the 2024 election.

3) Lawrence S. Wittner, Professor of History Emeritus at the State University of New York at Albany, discusses his recent article, "Trump’s Reckless Infatuation with Nuclear Weapons: Trump has brought the world closer to nuclear midnight," and concerns about US nuclear policy should Donald Trump win the presidential election this November.

4) Norman Solomon, executive director of the Institute for Public Accuracy, author of "War Made Invisible: How America Hides the Human Toll of Its Military Machine," and a cofounder of RootsAction.org, talks about his recent article, "The Illusion of Party Unity in the Democratic Party: Deference to the leadership of the Democratic Party has come at much too high a price.
