1) Carl Takei, Staff Attorney with the ACLU’s National Prison Project talks about the ACLU's lawsuit against the federal Bureau of Prisons for refusing to release requested documents, under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA,) related to the agency's 2002 approval of a CIA torture site in Afghanistan.

2) Dana Brown, national teach-ins coordinator with the Democracy Collaborative and The Next System Project, discusses the organization's nationwide teach-in project, with a focus on analysis of the failures of our current economic and political system, alternative models, and a strategy to move the nation toward implementing change.

3) Andrew Hanauer, Campaigns Director with the group Jubilee USA Network assesses Puerto Rico's debt crisis and ongoing Congressional negotiations on finding a fair solution to the economic dislocation that is impacting the island's citizens.

4) Sonali Kolhatkar, is host and creator of KPFK Radio's Rising Up with Sonali; author of "Bleeding Afghanistan: Washington, Warlords, and the Propaganda of Silence, and co-Director of the non-profit group, Afghan Women’s Mission. She discusses her recent article published at TruthDig.com titled, "Two Weeks Into a Major Uprising, French Activists Still Staying ‘Up All Night’" - with attention on the common economic issues impacting working people in both Europe and the U.S., and the ways in which activists can now communicate directly with each another, bypassing corporate media.
