10:00 AM - The premiere of an extended, full-hour conversation with virtuoso guitarist Jeff Pevar, recorded right before his Connecticut tour this summer. We retrace his professional career and listen to music from artists he’s worked with over the years, including Ray Charles, Marc Cohn, David Crosby, Jon Anderson, Jazz is Dead, and more. Pevar is an amazing storyteller; it’s a journey from Carnegie Hall to the caves of Oregon.

11:00 AM - Poet Phil Demise Smith reads "To the World at Large – and Very Small." Smith is an artist, musician, and poet who will be exhibiting paintings September 8 – October 24 at Gallery 77@Espresso77 in Jackson Heights. There will be an informal opening of the exhibition, Multi Ex Uno "Many Out of One" (a united states of consciousness) on Friday, September 8. Phil was also a member of the Dadaist music collective, "The N. Dodo Band."
