Wilson, director of Maryland Hunger Solutions, discuss his group's response to the Trump administration issuing new, final rules that will effectively take food off the tables of nearly 700,000 people who will be cutoff from SNAP/ Food Stamp benefits, because they will be unable to meet federal work hour requirements, that states will no longer be able to waive.
3) Lori Wallach founder and director of Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch discusses Congressional - White House negotiations on scheduling a vote to ratify a revised version of NAFTA -- assessing the good, bad and ugly in the USMCA - the United States, Mexico, Canada Agreement.
4) Cheri Quickmire, executive director of the Connecticut chapter of Common Cause, talks about her group's democracy agenda legislative priorities for the coming year -- including: limiting big money’s influence on CT elections; Passing automatic voter registration and Restoring statewide net neutrality protections.
