1) Kenneth Surin, Professor Emeritus of Literature at Duke University, examines newly appointed British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament, opposition protests and the likely outcome of a "No Deal Brexit," covering many of the issues he's written about in recent articles published by Counterpunch.org.

2) Thomas A. Saenz, president and general counsel with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), discusses Trump administration immigration policies, i.e. separation of children from parents, the new DHS "public charge rule" and the recently disclosed plan to deport severely ill children in the U.S. who are receiving life-saving medical treatment.

3) Jeremy Brecher, historian, activist, co-founder of the Labor Network for Sustainability and author of more than a dozen books on labor and social movements, including Strike! and Global Village or Global Pillage. He's the winner of five regional Emmy awards for his documentary movie work. Jeremy's most recent book is titled, "Against Doom: A Climate Insurgency Manual."Here he'll talk about his recent In These Times article titled, "Making the Green New Deal Work for Workers," while assessing the opportunities and challenges for the labor movement in the coming 2020 election, on this, Labor Day 2019.

4) Sena Wazer, a student at the University of Connecticut, will talk about her role as co-director of communications with the Sunrise movement in CT, co-leader with CT Youth Climate Strike and one of the main planners for the September 20th Global Climate Strike with CT Climate Crisis Mobilization.
