Recorded on June 2, 2017 at a plenary session at the 2017 Left Forum in New York City.

2) Michell McIntyre campaign coordinator with Public Citizen's Congress Watch and manager of the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards, examines growing opposition to the Regulatory Accountability Act, now pending in the U.S. Senate, which would exacerbate public harm that has resulted from corporate-deregulation of dangerous cars, unsafe food and other hazardous consumer products.

3) Naomi Ages, Greenpeace USA's Senior Climate Liability Campaigner, talks about Greenpeace's response to a new federal climate report which concludes that the US is already feeling the effects of climate change, with temperatures rising dramatically over the last four decades. She'll also discuss how the climate activist community is working to effectively challenge the views and actions of President Trump, who dismisses climate change as a "hoax."

4) Dax Crocker, a volunteer with Congregations Organized for a New Connecticut, CONECT, discusses his group's advocacy and solidarity on behalf of immigrant US residents under federal deportation orders, including recent cases where immigrants ordered to leave the U.S. have sought shelter in Connecticut sanctuary churches.
