3) Chris Hedges, is a Pulitzer-prize winning journalist who was a foreign correspondent for nearly two decades in Latin America, The Middle East, Africa, the Balkans and Europe, 15 of those years with The New York Times. Hedges is the author of several New York Times best sellers including "Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt" that he co-wrote with the cartoonist Joe Sacco. Here he addresses the issues of "Capitalism and Militarism -- At Humanity's Peril: Organizing Our Power," a panel discussion recorded at the annual Left Forum conference in New York City on May 20, 2016.
4) Mike DeRosa, co-chair of the Green Party of Connecticut and the 2014 Green Party candidate for Connecticut Secretary of State talks about the many institutional obstacles for third party candidates in local, state and national elections, as well as what the CT Greens are doing to get ballot access to run candidates for both state and federal office in the 2016 election.
