WPKN Archives: Mike Zeeto Show

Show details: Mike Zeeto Show

I first started doing shows at PKN early in 1973. I am now doing a once a month show as part of the 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon rotation (I'm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month). In my other life, along with Jim Honeycutt (former guitarist for Repairs [who in the 70's recorded three albums for Motown}), and I are the Media Teachers at Staples High School in Westport, CT. We teach TV Production, Independent Film Production, Radio, Audio, and Graphics, and I advise the school's award winning radio station - WWPT. I've got a great gig!

I can tell you that my Wednesday shows will start with Ceolbeg's version of Gordon Duncan's song "Zeeto the Bubbleman" (another former life!) and end dancing out of the studio with something from the group Wild Asparagus. In between, lots of new stuff, some interviews, and whatever has grabbed and shook me since my last show. I usually try to do at least one thing "special" each show. The best way to not miss out, is to "Like" the Facebook page for my show - Zeeto on WPKN or https://www.facebook.com/zeetopkn. Please message me there too with questions and ideas.

It has truly been an honor to be a part of WPKN for over forty years now. There are remarkable people who have graced our airways (many of which I now think of as family) and listeners who are just as remarkable (and just as much family to me). Thanks for putting up with me (and please continue, OK?)
