Episode: Solidarity with Garnett Ankle
One of the pioneers of reggae music, Winston Hubert McIntosh, the same Peter Tosh, had he been around would have celebrated his 76th birthday on Monday, October 19, 2020. He was assassinated on September 11,1987. During the first hour of this show, host Garnett Ankle features the Peter Tosh Experience, one hour of the original Wailers's songs.
Inside the second hour of the show, Garnett plays a few songs to the memory of American singer Johnny Nash who died on October 6, 2020. Nash went to live in Jamaica in 1965 and helped to popularize reggae music in the United States. He recorded some of Bob Markley's music. Nash also produced Marley's and other Jamaican artists' music with his JAD Record label along with Danny Sims.
