Episode: Solidarity with Garnett Ankle

Solidarity is a microcosm of the struggle for equal rights and justice we see all across the United States, and the world today. Many are realizing the dangerous influences of Christopher Columbus as they relate to slavery, and other injustices he and his criminal associates perpetrated on Native Indegenous people of the Americas, and Blacks forceably spirited out of Africa to the Diaspora. Columbus's statues are being distroyed all over the United States and the world. Local officials are removing his statues from the public square for safe keeping. A rainbow of people are very upset of the murder of Black people by usually White police officers and citizens alike. Many are now embracing, and realizing Black Lives Matter.

On the show today, Garnett plays music to depict the period in history in which we live. Some of the songs today, remind us of who Columbus really was. We should remember history, so as not to repeat its dangerous past. History should be our guide. Some of the usual features are also aired.
