1) Andrew Linhardt, Sierra Club Associate Director for Legislative and Administrative Advocacy to discuss his group's response to the Trump administration's recently announced plan to roll back Obama-era standards designed to cut emissions that contribute to climate change from gas burning autos and boost fuel efficiency in cars and trucks sold in the U.S. in the coming years.

2) James Loewen, an award winning author and historian, who's books include, "Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong," and "Sundown Towns: A Hidden Dimension of American Racism," (both recently reissued by the publisher,) discusses the importance of understanding the true history of the United States in the face of the Trump administration's constant stream of lies about policy issues and historical fact.

3) Kathy Kelly, co-coordinator of the group Voices for Creative Nonviolence, examines the gross human rights abuses being committed against civilians in the war in Yemen by Saudi Arabia, the UAE in coordination with the U.S. military -- including the recent August 9th, U.S.-supported Saudi airstrike targeting a bus carrying schoolchildren in Sa’ada, a city in northern Yemen that killed at least forty-three people.

4) Lindsay Meiman, US Communications Coordinator with the climate justice group 350.org, discusses plans for the September 8th Rise for Climate mobilization ahead of the California-based Global Climate Action Summit scheduled for September 12th.
