1) Investigative journalist Yasha Levine, author of the new book, "Surveillance Valley: The Secret Military History of the Internet," examines recent news stories about the role Cambridge Analytica played in the 2016 U.S. presidential election on behalf of Donald Trump -- and the more critical issue he's covered regarding giant social media companies' business model which is centered around the unregulated collection of personal data that is used to make billions in profit.
2) Medea Benjamin, co-founder of the group Code Pink Women for Peace, co-founder of the human rights group Global Exchange and author of "Kingdom of the Unjust: Behind the U.S.-Saudi Connection," assesses the recent defeat of a resolution in the Senate that would have invoked the War Powers Act to rein in the U.S. role in providing Saudi Arabia intelligence, reconnaissance and logistical support for the Kingdom's brutal war in Yemen.
3) Jim Lobe, Washington D.C. correspondent and chief of the Washington bureau of Inter Press Service from 1980 to 1985 -- and founder and editor of LobeLog.com, discusses the appointment of John Bolton as President Trump's National Security Advisor and the implications for U.S. policy in Iran, Korea and elsewhere around the world. He'll also examine Neoconservative ideology and the past and potential future consequences for world peace.
4) Speeches recorded at the "March for Our Lives" rally in Hartford, CT on March 24th at the state capitol featuring talks by young people impacted by gun violence, CT U.S. Senators Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal, activists from groups including Newtown Action Alliance, Connecticut Education Association, Connecticut Coalition Against Gun Violence, and the CT NAACP.
