1) Ari Paul, a New York City based journalist who has covered politics for The Nation, Vice, The Guardian, Dissent, Jacobin, Al Jazeera American and many other publications, talks about the death of conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and the battle ahead to replace him on the high court -- he also discusses his recent article, "The F Word: Yes, Donald Trump is a Fascist, and That Matters."

2) Paul Kawika Martin, political and communications director with the group Peace Action discusses President Obama's plan to modernize the U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal, the inherent dangers, cost and concern about triggering a new nuclear arms race -- and the Obama administration's plan to spend $3.4 billion increase the deployment of heavy weapons, armored vehicles and other equipment to NATO countries in Central and Eastern Europe "to counter Russia and Vladimir Putin."

3) Steve Ellner, professor of economic history at the Universidad de Oriente in Puerto La Cruz in Venezuela provides analysis of both the economic and political situation in Venezuela following the December 6, 2015 election where the right wing opposition won control of the national assembly -- and the country's economy is in the midst of a steep decline.

4) Mike DeRosa, Co-Chair of the Green Party of Connecticut, and the 2014 Green Party candidate for Connecticut Secretary of State, talks about the major issues in the 2016 election, his party's candidates running for president and plans for statewide races in CT.
